YERMO / CALICO, Calif. San Bernardino County Regional Parks is preparing its annual holiday celebration at Calico Ghost Town, 36600 Ghost Town Road near Yermo, on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The historic former silver-mining town will offer activities, performances, holiday shopping and an evening tree lighting.

What is planned?

According to the county’s November 5 announcement, the program includes visits with Santa, Christmas carolers, entertainment, crafts, an ugly-sweater contest, games and performances by the Calico Mountain Gunfighters. The holiday tree lighting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. County organizers also plan complimentary cookies and hot chocolate at Lil’s Saloon after the lighting.

How much are tickets?

Advertised event admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4–11. Children ages three and younger are admitted free. Food, shopping and any separately priced activities should not be assumed to be included in the basic ticket.

Visitors from across the Mojave Desert

Calico is off Interstate 15, approximately ten miles north of Barstow, making the event relevant for families visiting from Yermo, Barstow, Victorville, Hesperia and other desert communities. County Regional Parks also lists camping options including sites with hookups and cabins; availability is subject to individual reservation rules.

Before traveling, review the official Calico Holiday Fest page for ticket and parking details and check park updates if winter weather affects travel conditions.
